Vigilante Associates Custom Glass Systems has been in business since 1994. Specializing in the design, manufacture and installation of architectural glass and aluminum and hurricane impact systems, no job is too small or too large for us. We have worked on projects for the University of Miami, American Airlines, Cheesecake Factories, Publix Supermarkets, Ritz Carlton Hotels and the Network Access Point of the Americas. Vigilante Associates primarily focuses its work in South Florida, although company owner David Vigilante has consulted and worked on projects throughout North America.

In addition to the glass fountain pictured above, Vigilante provided many other glass products for the Espirito Santo Plaza, although the other work pales in comparison next to this one-of-a-kind showcase feature in the building. The fountain is made up of 1.5 inch thick sand-blasted laminated glass and 1-inch but joints.

Added to the obvious challenge of designing this architectural marvel was the requirement to having precisely measured pieces, 96 in all, of 40-inch by 80-inch glass, each weighing approximately 400 pounds. Additionally, when complete the fountain contains artwork running continuously through each piece, requiring their precise installation in order to perfectly align all the parts of the art work. This creates a unique sensory experience akin to walking and seeing the ocean above you.
